I'm curious whether smoke detectors should be outside or inside a bedroom in an apartment or house situation.I mentioned this to my landlord a few months ago after a scare at our apartments and never got an answer.I mentioned it because I think it should be outside and there are now other concerns that I know are wrong but I want to make sure about this.

I was wondering if I could get the phone number for the ANG base Fire Department in Coraopolis, If you could help, I'd sure appreciate it. -Dan

You can call the building inspector at 412-262-1700 and they will be able to help you in finding this out.

I would check with a building inspector or with the police on what type of property the building is on
